OK i just rang staffordshire county court, to find out where the feck my driving licence had got to - since i sent it to them before chrimbo to get speeding points put on it. i was expecting yet another teethgrinding “journey into fuckwittism” as the licence has my old address on it still [...]

this morning i finally received my staff ID card for work. in with the card was a note saying they hadnae lost the original photographs after all and in fact a card had been made up for be, but it had been sent to college by mistake, instead of to my home address. [...]

my passport came today and, best of all, they’d used the decent black & white photo in it and not them mingin’ oul photo booth ones. i can now look forward to my trip to prague next week and the inevitable overzealous attentions of the various customs officials i come into contact [...]
